*Garnizon was awarded the 1987 National Champion Stallion of Poland by a panel of elite judges - Sheila Varian, Patricia Lindsey, and Dr. Ekkehard Frielinghaus. He was awarded a 10 on both type and movement from these top horsepeople. With his win, he defeated such horses as Europejcyk, Endel, and Gaabaryt - all well known champions in their own right. In America too he was repeatedly a halter champion as well as a champion under saddle in English Pleasure where he excelled. His sire is Probat (Pohaniec x Borexia) and his dam is Glownia (El Paso x Gwardia). He is the epitomy of the Pure Polish ideal, and has crossed very well with mares of *Bask, *Aladdinn, *Negatiw and MS Santana lines. He throws outstanding babies that are showy, athletic, correct and very sane. His foals are very trainable and have done very well in both halter and performance.
We are grieved to announce that on Jan 10th, 2005, *Garnizon was laid to rest. He leaves behind a legacy of beauty and athleticism in his foals. We mourn his passing.
